We're back and running, I just got back from Ogunquit, Maine. Sadly though, there isn't as big of a bang on Pokémon news a I suspected. This is all I have:

I have just recovered some awesome and important information. Pokemon rocks is back and better than ever.

This time many plans have been made. More playable games will be available (including the chance of playing pokemon XD). Trading card game battles and pokemon GBA battling. Prizes will also be given away and the best of all is that the admission is free. These exclusive parties are only happening in FIVE chosen cities and by august 5th the dates and cities will be revealed.

ポケモンフェスタ2005

It's the Pokémon Fiesta 2005 traveling around Japan. There you can playa demo version of Pokémon Ranger: ポケモン レーンジャー , Pokémon XD, and actually play, PokéPark Fishing Rally: ポケ公園再結集の採取DS with your Japanese DS. You will also see a trailer of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. It's only in Japan so better call ANA. Oh, yeah, here's the link: ポケモンフェスタ2005. Hope you can go, because I know I can't! Nintendo of America has announced a pre-order bonus for the upcoming Gamecube game Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness. A special Gamecube skin featuring the Pokémon XD logo and some Pokémon.

Starting August 28, 2005 Pokémon fans in the U. S. who reserve a copy of Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness for Nintendo GameCube at participating retailers will receive a custom Nintendo GameCube vinyl skin featuring characters from the game.

Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness will be available October 3, 2005 in the U. S.. For the dedicated Pokemon fan, there will also be a Limited Edition Bundle featuring a Nintendo GameCube system and controller, Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness and a Limited Edition Pokemon XD Face Plate.

小型モンスターのダイヤモンドおよび真珠の新しい情報 (New Information On Pokémon Diamond And Pearl)

We have confirmed some new information on Pokémon Diamond & Pearl for Nintendo DS:

• Not due out until 2006 in Japan.
• There are no new types of Pokémon (meaning like ghost, grass, etc.), but there will be new combinations of existing types.
• Lots of new Pokémon, including new evolutions and pre-evolutions of existing Pokémon.
• You will be able to transfer Pokémon from Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Fire Red, and Leaf Green to the DS games.
• Sixteen players will be ablle to link up with Diamond & Pearl at once.

Coro Coro also confirmed through an Interview that Diamond & Pearl are due for release during 2006 and not November 2005 as many people have speculated
It was also revealed that there would be no new types but new type combinations, that there would be lots of new Pokémon including new Pre-Evo's and Evo's of existing Pokémon.
They also revealed that Diamond & Pearl WILL be able to transfer your Pokémon from Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed & LeafGreen Pokémon to Diamond & Pearl.
It was also mentioned that Diamond & Pearl will use the DS's Wireless Capabilities allowing for linking for up to 16 Players at once.

Pokémon Ranger ポケモン レーンジャー

Well the latest coro-coro has something about a possible new game coming in 2006 to Japan: Pokemon Ranger.


According to coro-coro, they are saying it's, "The path to Pokemon Diamond and Pearl" but no further information is given. Apparently its an interim game before D/P are relased but we're only guessing there. Stay tuned to JRB for more details on Pokemon Ranger, Diamond and Pearl and everything else Pokémon.

Another Chance for the Mystic Ticket!

Pokémon Dolls Recalled, May Contain Needles

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced Friday the recall of 9,200 Pokémon plush toys.

The recall involves 10 "PokéDoll" characters named Pikachu, Minun, Plusle, Skitty, Evee, Munchlax, Mew, Ho-Oh, and Lugia.
Pokémon USA Inc. of New York, N.Y., is voluntarily recalling about 9,200 Pokémon Plush Toys. The stuffing of the toy may contain tips of sewing needles which could pose a puncture hazard.

The CPSC says the toy's stuffing may contain tips of sewing needles that can pose puncture hazards.

No injuries have been reported.

The China-made dolls were sold at Nintendo World, 10 Rockefeller Plaza, New York City, and on the firm's Web site from April through June for between $8 and $20.

Nintendo of America Inc., at the E3 Conference in Los Angeles, also gave the PokéDoll plush toys away as promotions in May.

Parents should take the toys away from children immediately and contact Pokémon USA to receive a free replacement toy.
