NEW YORK, -- June 18, 2007 -- Pokémon USA, Inc., has won a Distinguished Achievement Award given annually by the Association of Educational Publishers to recognize the most outstanding materials in the field of teaching and learning. Its online educational initiative, Pokémon Learning League [ http://www.pokemonlearningleague.com ], earned top marks in the Science Instruction-Technology-Websites-K-5 category for its science lessons. The suite of animated, interactive lessons covers science, math, language arts, and life skills for grades 3-6. The award was presented during the AEP Annual Educational Publishing Summit on June 12, 2007, in Washington, D.C.
