Players To Participate In Exclusive Card Preview Tournaments

Pokémon TCG EX Unseen Forces Prerelease TournamentBELLEVUE, Wash. – August 2, 2005– Pokémon USA, Inc., a worldwide leader in trading card game industry, today announced that the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) EX Unseen Forces Prerelease Tournaments will be held across the U.S. from August 13-21. EX Unseen Forces Prerelease Tournaments provide players the opportunity to preview and play with unreleased cards from the upcoming EX Unseen Forces expansion.

The Pokémon TCG Prerelease Tournaments are held in the weeks leading up to the 2005 Pokémon TCG World Championships, when the EX Unseen Forces expansion will be officially released. Players are divided into three age categories; 10 and younger, 11 to 14, and 15 and older. An admission fee of up to $20 is charged per player for entry to these events, and includes six booster packs of Pokémon TCG: EX Unseen Forces, from which each player will build his or her deck.
