Yahoo! ぶんぶん言う音の索引

yahoo
Guess what I was surfing the Yahoo! Buzz Index whan I went to videogames and saw this!:

Although it went down a little It's still number three! And its been on there for 794 days! Go to Yahoo! and type in Pokemon too boost the score!

Here is how the Buzz Index works:
A subject's buzz score is the percentage of users searching for that subject on a given day, multiplied by a constant to make the number easier to read.

More precisely, each point is equal to 0.001% of users searching on Yahoo! on a given day. For example, a buzz score of 500 for "Pokémon" translates to 0.5% of all users searching on Yahoo!

For buzz movers, the number displayed is the percentage increase in the subject's buzz score from the previous day.

Keep searching!

ポケモン第10 記念日!

As most of you know, the 10th anniversary of the Pokémon games is comming up in Feburary.. the 10th anniversary of the Pokemon games Well it seem Pokemon USA has updated their site a bit with a breif time-line and some cool trivia-like info about the GB games and Pokemon in general.. We have a small excerpt below:

Pokemon Red for Nintendo Game Boy

It all started with the release in Japan of Pokémon Red and Green for the Nintendo Game Boy in Feburary 1996. These games started off modestly, but quickly picked up steam and became a hudge hit, paving the way for the Pokémon Trading Card Game, which allowed players to take the battle into their own hands. At the end of the year, Pokémon Blue came out, an improved version of the original Red and Green games.

For all the new, fun stuff and to read the complete time-line, visit www.pokémon.com. Look for more special info and some pages here at JRBnet as the anniversary date gets closer.

Trozei News

JRBnet R&D have came up with some new items considering the hot new Japanese game Pokémon Trozei.
First the game in boring old Europe will be called Pokémon Link! and will be the same game just with a different title.
Also I have some information on the game:
Pokémon Trozei is the first puzzle game featuring Pokémon for the Nintendo DS.

The Puzzle is made by sliding the Pokémon icons across to make lines, however it is more complicated that that. Click here to learn more

This game has 4 Modes of play. They are as follows:

1. Adventure Mode - Featuring the path of Lucy Lightfoot, an agent of the Secret Operation League, who has to save Pokémon from the evil Phobos Army
2. Endless Mode - Where you just play to try and beat your best score and go on as much as possible
3. Battle Mode - You try to beat a friend via Wireless Link across 2 DS's
4. Pair Mode - You and a friend try to beat the Top Score together via the Wireless Link

There is also a Pokédex in this game which contains all 386 Pokémon and maybe more, all you need to do is make a combination with them in any of the modes and it will be added to your Pokédex

As with all Puzzle Games, the game-play stays constant and relies on you and your need to beat your own score...but to get all 386 Pokémon will be quite a feat to accomplish!

Also the release date in the good old Us will finally be March 6th, 2006, or 12 days after my birthday when we will be in Disney, I think.

DS lité

After weeks of rumors and speculation, Nintendo today finally revealed its expected redesign of the Nintendo DS handheld system. Called DS lite, this new design will be released in Japan on March 2, 2006 and cost 16,800 ¥ (about 140 dollars US.) The redesign retains all the functionality of the standard DS, but makes things smaller, lighter and brighter.

The modified dual screen handheld has been tweaked into a smaller chassis. The new unit measures up to 133 mm wide by 73.9 mm tall by 21.5 thick. (that's compared to 148.7 x 84.7 x 28.99 mm in the original.) DS Lite weighs 218g, compared to the 275 g of the original.

DS Lite's biggest new technical feature is its updated set of backlit LCD screens. The system is brighter overall, and will give the user the ability to select from four different levels of brightness for viewing and/or battery consumption. A few other cosmetic changes were made to the new DS Lite -- there's a new hinge design, the power light was put on the left side of the hinge and is visible while the clamshell is closed, the mic is moved to top/center while the speakers are more centered, the Select and Start buttons are set on the bottom instead of top, and the power button is no longer on the front, and all of the dark button colors are changed to whites and grays. The cute DS logo is also placed on the front. Basic functionality, otherwise, looks to be identical to the original DS.

Nintendo has not yet revealed any of its US release plans, but expect an announcement in the next few hours from Nintendo of America. We'll keep you posted. Maybe there will be a Pokémon one!

PRA'06

Pokémon USA has announced 2006 will see many tours across the USA, whose purpose is to distribute selected Pokémon to players.

Pokemon USATo commence the campaign a poll has been put on the official Web site, allowing players to choose the Top 20 Pokémon they would like to receive from the aforementioned tours. The exact nature of these tours has yet to be clarified, and whether they will follow the same formula as Pokémon Rocks America cannot be inferred until further details are made clear. However, since the list includes evolved Pokémon as well as legendary ones, it is evident that the downloads will be directly performed through stations, as was the case with events at the time of the older games. This serves as an alternative to wireless communication downloads, through which FireRed, LeafGreen and Emerald players can receive special items and Pokémon Eggs.

The list excludes 10 Pokémon which many would deem valuable to obtain -- Mewtwo, Mew, Lugia, Ho-oh, Celebi, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Jirachi and Deoxys. By no coincidence, these Pokémon are those ineligible to enter Ruby and Sapphire's Battle Tower, Emerald's Battle Frontier and XD's Orre Colosseum (entering them to Colosseum's Battle Mode results in PokéCoupon deduction). Further, the same rules have applied to most official tournaments.. Read more here.

DSN2

Is Nintendo ready to reveal the next installment of the Nintendo DS this Monday?

Rumours are flooding websites all over the internet at the moment, all pointing to a Nintendo announcement this Monday in which they will reveal a redesign of the Nintendo DS - the one spoken of by Nintendo America's head of marketing, Reggie Fils-Aime, last year.

The rumour of a January 16th announcement orginated from import gaming store, Lik-Sang.com, when they posted a news update, claiming they'd received word from a trusted Japanese source. SPOnG continued this by posting more information from their trusted "sources" and suggested that the redesign would be cell-phone inspired, square in shape, and still carry the fliptop screen element. Also, Japanese magazine Famitsu recently teased that a current Nintendo console would be getting a revision, but failed to reveal which one.

There's certainly some credibility to these claims, we think.

The Nintendo DS is almost sold out in Japan, with Nintendo's inventory completely gone - what better time to begin manufacturing the redesign, if they haven't done so already; production of the current DS may have been temporarily halted, thus explaining the shortages.

The Game Boy Advance SP redesign was first revealed to the public in January of 2003, and promptly launched in March - could this same tactic be used again this time 'round?
Nintendo of America have reportedly denied any such announcement to be taking place.
Talking to IGN Yesterday, Nintendo of America had this to say about the DS Redesign Rumors.

Clearly, Nintendo DS continues to be one of the most popular and talked-about video game systems available. and through 2005, some 13 million units have sold worldwide. Nintendo is always looking for ways to improve its games and systems, but we have nothing to announce at this time

Nintendo may release a new design of their Nintendo DS at a later date.

PokéPark DS has a silhouette of Pikachu in the upper left hand corner of the handheld when opened and a special PokéPark Logo on the back of the front cover. PokéPark Nintendo DS is a must have for Pokémon fans and collector's everywhere! I'm getting one for my birthday!

Pokémon Ranger

The first real Pokémon game for Nintendo DS hits in just a couple of months. Pokémon Mysterious Dungeon, Pokemon Trozei and Pokemon Dash are fine and all (well, maybe not Pokémon Dash), but we expect another DS explosion to begin with the release of the first traditional Pokémon RPGs, Diamond and Pearl.Pokemon Ranger

But before D/P, Japan will be getting Pokémon Ranger. Japanese retailers reveal that this precursor to Diamond and Pearl will see Japanese release on March 23, 2006.

Pokémon Ranger is an action-RPG, but it more closely resembles a traditional Pokémon game than the DS's other three Pokemon games. The game will tie-in closely to the upcoming Pokémon movie.

Kids, behave!

Thanks to a heads up from PokeBeach.com we've found out that even the voice actors aren't sure whats going to happen during the change to Pokémon USA running the dubs and so on..$kids Entertainment Here is a direct quote from a recently posted email: Veronica Taylor's Reply
As I posted the other day, my friend PokemonTrainerLisa e-mailed Veronica Taylor (Ash/May's voice actor) regarding 4Kids and the rumors that they were losing the dubbing rights to Pokemon. Taylor has now given permission for her e-mails to be posted publicly:

Lisa-
Thanks for your email. We actually don't know yet what will be happening with the show for next season. We are waiting to hear if Pokémon USA will resign contracts with 4Kids. If they choose to go elsewhere the voices will most likely change as we are under contract with 4Kids and not Pokémon USA. Everyone involved with the show would be extremely upset if this should happen. We are hoping that it will all be resolved soon.
We'll see.....
Wishing you all the best and Happy New Year!
Veronica

------------------

Lisa-
Feel free to share the info. Who knows, maybe the fans' input could even sway Pokémon USA to resign! As of now, we have no news.
All the best,
Veronica

We can only hope that if 4Kids totally loses the Anime, another dubbing company will pick it up and we will hire and keep the same voice actors.
