On behalf of the JRBnet cast, we would like to wish everybody a happy Memorial Day, let's take this day to remember those who helped this country on this day.
Wi-Fi was not as glitchy tonight, but still glitchy.
Today was the first time I have ever used Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection with a friend. My experience with Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection wasn't the best. I signed on at 7p and my friend signed on at 7:10p, but we never saw each-other until he called me and we signed off then on again at the exact same time. The first battle and first trade also crashed and froze. After that, (everything, like when we signed off to change our teams) we had to call each-other to make sure we signed on at the exact same time!
Here's some new screenshots of the US version of Pokémon Battle Revolution. For more screenshots, go here: Pokémon Battle Revolution
IGN has a video demonstration of the wi-fi mode in Pokémon Battle Revolution: http://media.wii.ign.com/media/818/818481/vid_2003084.html
Pokémon Battle Revolution for the Wii will be available on June 25, 2007.
Nintendo Game Information
Key Information: - The game takes place on an island called Pokétopia. There are 10 different Colosseums to battle in. The objective is to win all the Colosseum battles and become the Pokétopia Master.
- Players use Pokémon from their Pokémon® Diamond and Pokémon® Pearl games (sold separately) and battle them on the big screen. Pokémon Battle Revolution is the first title where players can link Wii with Nintendo DS. Players can connect Nintendo DS to Wii (compatible wireless router or Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector and broadband access required for online play).
- DS Battle Mode (requires DS systems for all players, sold separately): Four players can gather together and battle while using Pokémon from their Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl video games. All players use the DS as their controller in this mode, and it uses the same battle interface found in Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl.
- Players can customize their Trainers in the game.
Colosseum Battle Mode: There are 10 Colosseums (Battle Fields) altogether throughout Pokétopia. Many will need to be unlocked by playing through the others.
Nintendo DS Battle Mode: This multiplayer mode is for those who also own Pokémon Diamond or Pokémon Pearl as well as Nintendo DS systems. Four players can get together and battle while using their very own Pokémon from their Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl games. All players use the DS as a controller in this mode. The same battle interface that is used in Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl is used while battling with friends.
Battle Passes and Trainer Customization: Players can create and customize their own Battle Pass by transferring their favorite Pokémon onto the Pass. They can then save the Battle Pass to their Wii Remote™ and take it to a friend’s house to battle with them. |

Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl claimed the top two spots of the two best-selling games in April. Pokemon Diamond/Pearl have sold 1.75 million units in just 14 days.
Press Release
Nintendo Runs the Table in April Sales Already riding a streak as America's No. 1 seller of video game consoles, No. 1 seller of portable game systems and No. 1 publisher of video games, Nintendo added more chips to its pile in April-with not just one, but the country's four best-selling games.
According to independent sales data gathered by the NPD Group, the two best-selling games in April were Pokemon® Diamond and Pokemon® Pearl, exclusively for the Nintendo DS™ hand-held game system, followed by Super Paper Mario™ and Wii Play™ for the Wii™ home video game system. Combined sales for the two related Pokemon titles exceeded 1.75 million units in just 14 days of availability during the reporting period.
The DS remained the most popular game system of any kind in April, with projected sales of more than 470,000 units. At the same time, the Wii from Nintendo, despite nearly universal sold-out status, was still purchased by twice as many consumers as any other home game console, according to the NPD data. Unit sales of 360,000 Wii systems in April bring the console's installed base in America to nearly 2.5 million in less than six months on the market.
"Nothing is more valuable in the entertainment world than an evergreen franchise," says Reggie Fils-Aime, president and COO, Nintendo of America. "These new Pokemon titles have cemented their place alongside the most enduring intellectual properties of the book, music and movie industries. And that appeal will expand even further with the introduction of Pokemon® Battle Revolution to our Wii home console next month." |

I got the basic idea of what Pokémon Mysterious Dungeon 2 is all about. You (Diamond and Pearl Pokémon) hunt down potential suspects and criminals.

Licensing Manager at Pokémon UK, Rekha Rajput, explains: "Pokémon Diamond and Pearl will thrust our brand right back to the forefront of children’s minds across Europe, and we strongly felt that a landmark of this magnitude deserved its own European-specific style guide.
"We asked Red Central to create it for us because they understood exactly what we wanted to achieve, and with their experience in the children’s entertainment industry we knew they could translate our goals into great designs."
Red Central Director Phil Overton said: "This is a dynamic property with both a mass and cult following and we’re very excited to be involved in its development," says Red Central Director Phil Overton. "The style guide is an important part of the launch, and we intend to capture Pokémon’s energy to make sure all licensed merchandise does the brand justice."

The Emerald/Crystal/Yellow of D&P is Pokémon Opal. If you go to PokémonOpal.com is redirects to Nintendo. Suspicious!
Here is what the U.S. boxart will look like for Pokémon: Battle Revolution:
In celebrating the 10th anniversary of Pokémon and Pokémon's past, the official Japanese movie website has posted old movie trailers from movies one through eight. All of the trailers contain scenes that were made only for the trailers, and were not included in the actual movie. It is also worth mentioning that these were not the only trailers made for each movie - each Pokemon movie has at least three different trailers made for them over time, with each trailer being released as the movie comes closer to completion (we already have two trailers for the 10th Pokémon movie, Dialga vs. Palkia vs. Darkrai, and there is bound to be at least one more before it is released in July in Japan). The trailers on the website appear to be the second trailers released for each movie, not the first or the last, so there are scenes that were made for the movies in them, and scenes that were not. To view each trailer, click the links below.
1: Mewtwo Strikes Back
2: Revelation Lugia
3: Lord of the Unknown Tower
4: Celebi, a Timeless Encounter
5: The Water Guardians of Altomare
6: Wishing Star of Seven Nights
7: Visitor of the Space Fissure, Deoxys
8: Mew and the Aura-Guiding Hero, Lucario
Funny how Ash is always screaming "Pikachuuuu!!!!!," Pikachu is falling, or Pikachu is crying. Such drama.
